Welcome to our library

Hi, welcome to our library of books, stories, experiences, and photo albums. Here are our collections. Very limited ones indeed. This page shares few things (I think) we know, many things we know little about, a lot of things we wish to know, and a great number of things we dunno. Among those few, hopefully you may enjoy some of your interests.

I live in Jakarta, a huge scarring hectic city. I came from smaller city of Bandung where I could walk on its greeny side streets (mostly Cihampelas and Cipaganti after my school hours @ SMA 2, then Dago, Ganesha and Surapati while I was in college). Well, I can only dream on it since Bandung's already changed into unfriendly busy shopping area. My parents still live there with my only brother and couple of cats.

In love matters, even I believe in it as much as I could, several heart funerals happened along my way to adulthood. In early March 1999, I finally found someone as new best friend then made a right decision to marry him on March 24, 2002. We had short honey moon to Yogyakarta where we ran out of money. The last we had on our train back to Bandung was a 20 thousand bank note. We used it to buy instant noodle at Yogyakarta train station and local transportation tickets. He is still my biggest supporter and cheerleader until now and hopefully we will be best friends forever.

Kaylia came to our life on June 19, 2004 @ 12.55 pm. She was a beautiful little baby with 2.9 kg weight and 49 cm height. She was born with bright eyes, curly hair, chubby cheek, and a bit reddish skin. She has been our hapiness and hope since then.

Almost 11 hours of my day is spent outside my rent house. I work for a banking institution in Jakarta since 2002. Reading has been my cure to curiousity; me and my family was not exposed to long journeys and travelling so books help me a lot to enjoy anyplace we've never been. Writing is my personal relieving and amusing tool. I am not a good writer, I suppose, still I know what I write is stronger than what I say. Only recently I push myself to explore outside my cubicle and talk more.

Since I gave up my diary-style letters in end of 2002 soon after Aris came back from Amboina, Moluccas and settled in Jakarta, I hardly wrote anything except some short personal letters, emails, and opinion in Bahasa (please find them in http://bubima.blogspot.com). Then one day I read Atik’s blogspirit where she shares her wonderful life and spirit there (she's so damn creative) and it inspired me. So, this is it. Later I found out that more day-to-day stories and feelings appear in this library than review of the books I  have read…^__^ . Even so  I believe this library can help me keep my writings and “little secrets”  in a safe place beyond the time limit.

I am in Bloomington, IN now pursuing my MBA. It's a completely new place and new experience for me. Really hope that what I am doing now will make differences to my small world.

This page stores my days with Aris and Kaylia as well as with other family, friends, and relatives. So you all are welcome to join us.
