Love in Prague

Have you ever got a present or gift or anything from participating in a quiz? I haven’t, and in fact not many people ever get one. It was fun to know how to hunt and win quizzes. This book was a picture of a lucky quiz hunter, Yudith, who had won some quiz's presents which had flown her to attend music concerts in Singapore, Tokyo and London.
Winning a quiz, unluckily she was trapped in a journey to Prague with a guy she didn’t like. Arkie, the guy, was a famous singer in her campus. But she didn’t like his style, his manner, his everything include his good looking face. Arkie didn’t think better of her as well.
They hated each other for undefined reasons, if not silly ones. Each of them made a ridiculous promise to each’s gank. Arkie said he wouldn’t fall in love before he reach the age of 25 and it would be impossible for him to ever feel for a girl like Yudith. Yudith promised to never have a romantic relationship until she makes ten countries.
It was a typically cat-and-dog classic story, a love-hatred relationship. A list of events make them confused about their feelings. Yudith had a terrible accident of loosing her handycam while she was taking a trip alone around Prague (Carol the guide wasn’t coming because she was sick). Another one happened when she left her hotel room key inside the door. Once she also forgot to bring her wallet and map. Those weren’t all. She broke a beautiful crystal vase in a crystal store while they were with Carol.
Although Arkie stated that he found no joy in travelling with her, he was the one who saved her from the unpleasant situation. Arkie had cared enough to try to find her when she wasn’t in her room searching for her handycam. He helped her with the room key. And he also helped to band her finger when she was wounded by the crystal.
Then the feeling started to grow unnoticed. Yudith began to think more of Arkie whereas he wondered why Yudith seemed enjoying conversations with Anta (Arkie’s handsome cousin who lived in Prague).
The turning point was when they were invited to Carol’s parents silver anniversary party. Yudith appearance’s looked different. Carol had made her over. She looked overwhelmingly beautiful. Even Arkie suddenly trembled when they had a dance. Yudith was also surprised when she listened to Arkie played a beautiful song in piano.
But before the feelings revealed, they had already gone home and tied up in their foolish promises. Anta played a great deal in their relationship. His icon was more like some charming and cool guys in Korean dramas who were always left alone broken hearted, surprisingly beaten up by the other silly and childish guys. A few ups and more downs made the story a little slow. If only one of them were smart enough to be honest, the book will not have as many as 371 pages. But it was worth reading because the couple brought me to Prague and entertained me with their stupid yet funny quarrels and arguments.
