Summer means films
I am busied myself with tons of films, ultimately from Youtube, Veoh, and Fox.
This is my favorite. I haven't read any reviews about this K-drama. Well, I don't care....it's funny. That's enough. This is the quotation from http://www.koreandrama.org/?p=431.
This drama is based from a romantic comedy Manwha by writer Lee Sun Mi (이선미). The heroine, Go Eun Chan, disguises herself as a man in order to avoid an arranged marriage. She works in a coffee specialty shop and then falls in love with the hot-tempered president of the shop, Choi Han Kyul. Han Kyul thinks that Eun Chan is a man so he starts to think about his sexuality and Eun Chae is torned that she cannot reveal herself unless she wants to get herself married off.

Oh Dal Ja = oh, my life
In 2007, we’ll be soon 33 years old.
We have poor and humiliating spatial intelligence.
We thought that one kiss and kindheartedness simply would lead us to our weddings [stupid thought, you bet].
We ate while we were having body exercise program on TV.
Our minds are easy to read: no secret, no mystery [that is what transparent means].
We often cry [the tears very easily fall just like the rain] but seldom give up [you may check this one item out when you meet me].

Hot long week end
We had a great time during our long week end. On Saturday, Kaylia and I made a visit to Mbak Erma & family in RS Asih. They've just had a new baby girl. Sunday was a long day; we visited the Ragunan Zoo and Citos (Kaylia insisted to buy a Beebug shoes, a beautiful ones, indeed). We came to Mbak Indah's house in Duren Tiga Selatan on Monday. Then Kaylia asked me to buy her socks. We finally chose Plaza Indonesia where she got a pair of Barbie socks (30% discounted). How I love Monday!!!
I begin to work on my homework and writing task on Monday afternoon. I sent some emails to Emily, Debra, Anne, and some classmates. I ended up watching a teenlit cinema. Actually, I plan to watch "Bintang Jatuh" again (for the hundredth).
I am kind of exhausted to write a better memoir of these great days.

Friends ‘n the Cities (Jakarta 1) : Guna
I remember him mostly on his funny face, generosity, and, of course, sensitivity. During our college years, we took the public transportation to get home. The long trips were not at all boring or torching when I had him around. He made me laugh easily, either at his story or at ourselves. Other passengers in the cab frowned at us, usually with sharp looks in their eyes. Who cared? We didn’t. Surely, fun time never die!
We took our afternoon meal at Solaria last week. He told me that he’s got a bit bored with his current job. He’s waiting for the offer from the World Bank. Big step, I think. Despite his professional achievements, whatever they are that made him rich, he’s still the old Guna who forgot or mistook everything for everything else. He couldn’t recall my story with my last to-be BF in campus. Great. I think I am lucky that he didn’t forget my name or mistook me for another person.
He also stays the same in term of his attention and kind heart. He never saves his praise. We chatted about our past time (nothing beat that time), our condition (he’s not married yet but loves children, if you want to know), and our dreams. So many points and much fun for just over one hour rendevouz. Hope to see you again, bro!

Days before Idul Fitri
After completing my Introduction to Oracle 9i on Thursday (4 days before Idul Fitri), I walked on Metropole cinema only to find that the next movie would be played in one hour. At first I decided to wait on “Denias”, a movie about a young teenager from Papua who traveled such a long distance just to find himself a good school. But then I changed my mind and went to Pasaraya Manggarai to get a T-shirt for Kaylia. One hour of waiting was not an interesting thing anymore. I also bought The Al-Chemist from Minoriya.
The next day was a mommy-daughter day. I took Kaylia to my office lobby to get her Salma dolls I had reserved via Wida. Then she asked me to buy kids sandals at Sogo. I found a pair of Anyo shoes in children corner. The shoes were white with some pearl-like accessories. She liked it very much as she took it on-off for the whole day. Saturday and Sunday were days of window shopping in Plaza Senayan and Carrefour Ambasador Mall. Kaylia ran and hop around leaving me with deep fatigue.
The household tasks were killing me. Everynight I slept over midnight since Kaylia got high fever. Her Dad & I took shift to carry her in our arms,
I got a picture of what a real housewife does and I am both thankful and regret that I am not one. Thankful that I still able to chat, dine, and shop while I am in working hours; I can read books and watch Korean dramas in my sparetime without worrying about washing, cooking, and cleaning; I stepped into the house every evening just to eat, play aropund with Kaylia, and have a good night sleep. Regret that I had missed many things I should be able to do in serving my family. I am so sorry, Kay, rarely did I do your laundry, cook your soup, and walk you in the afternoon to get some fresh air. At this gulity point, I feel that I have given some of my upbringing duty to many people around me : the babysitter, my in laws, Kay's teachers, Kay's favorite friends, etc. But she loves me still. Unconditionally.

Welcome the Holy Month
This night started our precious Ramadhan nights. Truthfully, I ask for forgiveness to everyone for my past wrongdoing. Mbak Ika (the secretary of my division) messaged me to come to our morning Al Qur’an reading session on Monday before office bell rings. I said OK.
After my first shalat tarawih, finally I met my fave Dian Sastrowardoyo in her new cinema ‘Dunia Tanpa Koma’ on my TV. Great movie. I love it, I love the story and scenes, but mostly I love her and her new kick Fauzi Baadilla. I don’t kow how to say it but positively he’s my kind of man… I observed that he became a totally different person once he engaged in a role. Good actor.
In this first week end of Ramadhan, I plan to buy our monthly consumer goods @ Carrefour. Honestly, I was a little bit feeling guilty everytime I shopped there. Feel like loosing my sense of nationality and every hundred thousand Rp I spent there means I have killed one retailer at our traditional market and support one western well established retailer instead. Of course that’s not true because almost 90% supplier of the hypermarket is our local producers..(maybe that's the plea I am trying to make).
Just today I read articles about Indonesian people’s behavior toward the way they spend their money. AC Nielsen’s research resulted in a not-so-shocking conclusion that 93% consumer in Indonesia is recreational shoppers. I think it is right, since I am one of that 93%. Given that I belong to early to medium class in society, you can never hard to imagine how our high class society members walk along France's famous boutique. I guess no matter how much I try to avoid consumerisme, actually I have been trapped in it for a long time. Only now I have enough source to support such expenses even they are far from deluxe items. Compared to my friend in the office, I am less capable of high tech ends like laptop, digital camera, vehicles, and of course fashion things. Maybe my definition of luxury has shifted to a pool of low cost nice stupid activities : playing with Kaylia, reading books, watching TV, having everybody I love right next to me. Sounds satisfying for me. Just look down, don't look up too much.
